Jointly established by the Faculties of Medicine and Law at the University of Hong Kong, the Centre conducts research and promotes its findings in medical ethics and law. It also organises professional training for experts in both areas and help sets ethical benchmarks on relevant issues. The WYNG Foundation facilitated the establishment of the Centre, and has been supporting its operations and encouraging scholarly exchange between the Centre, the University of Cambridge’s Centre for Law, Medicine, and Life Sciences, McGill University’s Centre of Genomics and Policy, and PHG Foundation.
